Although it is so easy to set charging thanks to the docking station that you may just charge it after every use.

You hold the Dyson V8 over your bin, pull a lever and the dirt falls out straight into the bin. You may find that items and some dirt gets stuck inside here. Every few clean it is worth poking with a toothbrush and cleaning it out properly.
Dyson is known for their filtration technologies, they are great vacuum cleaners to choose if members of your family have allergies or are sensitive to dust. The filters in place capture allergens as you pass the Dyson V8 over the surface you are cleaning and release air back into the room cleaner than the standard air we breathe.
The mini motorised tool is a fantastic idea, I love it when manufactures couple motorised power with the standard carpet cleaning tools of a hand held cleaner. With each pass a motorised brush agitates the carpet, ensuring more dirt is sucked up and removed, leaving a better clean.
The two power modes available really set the Dyson apart from the competition and allow it to be a more premium product in the category of best cordless vacuum cleaner. Standard suction from any Dyson including the V8 is exceptional and provides a fantastic clean. However, sometimes you need that bit more, ground in dirt or a lot to clear, Dyson don’t give you a bit more they give you a lot more! The MAX boosted option only gives you 7 minutes of runtime but wow is it powerful!

As for the unique features that Gtech utilise to make the Air Ram, Multi and Power Floor unique. The first feature that I am obsessed with is the headlights. You have to see these in action to really understand and appreciate them, they sound like a useless feature, but once you have used them you will be strapping torches to all of your vacuum cleaners. They work really well to identify dirt on the floor that you wouldn’t see in a room using traditional artificial lighting or natural lighting.
Another feature that I think is brilliant and should be included on every vacuum cleaner is the variable height option. With the Gtech Air Ram the variable height handle allows it to be used by someone who is just over 4 foot or 6 foot something.
The Gtech Air Ram as far as cordless vacuum cleaners go is pretty amazing. However, there is one slight flaw. It is strictly an upright vacuum cleaner, it doesn’t come with any tools or attachments, nor does it flex or adapt to become a handheld cleaner. Gtech’s answer was the multi which is a fantastic handheld cleaner but then not really much of an upright cordless vacuum cleaner.
