They’re surprisingly lightweight; have a relatively fast charge time of around 2 hours, and provide at least 3 hours use-time under optimal conditions. It’s efficient, we’ll give it that!

A Dewalt 18V XR battery will set you back around £25 but it’s definitely worth considering investing in two batteries – that way you’ll always have one ready to go as you can use one whilst the other is on charge.
