If you are fed up with streaky windows and tiles, spending hours trying to clean them for them to look just as bad – then you definitely need a window vac. They are designed to massively reduce the amount of time you spend cleaning your home!
The Karcher Window Vac is a great little gadget to have around the home, but more than that it does a really good job! We were initially shocked by the Karcher WV2 as we thought it would be a pointless gadget that made a bit of a mess of your windows. Or one that ran out of charge part way through the job.

The Karcher Window Vac will allow you to clean around 25 windows or 75m squared per charge, which is around 20 minutes’ worth of window vac per charge. A charge takes 2 hours to complete and don’t worry you won’t run out of charge part way through cleaning a window without warning. Karcher have thought of that with the Karcher window vac, it has a charge level indicator built in.
The kit comprises of the WV2 window vac with in-build lithium-ion battery, charger, spray bottle, detergent concentrate and microfibre cleaning head. The spray and microfibre cleaning head can be used to move the toughest of stains, before cleaning the piece of glass dry with the Karcher window vac. You can purchase additional sprays separately if you wish, or just swap to using your own once it has ran out!
The Karcher WV2 Plus is a great all round cleaning tool, it can be used for cleaning glass and granite surfaces. It is great for cleaning up spillages, removing condensation, plus much more. What we really love is the compact design, so you can clean right down to the bottom of windows rather than having to stop towards the bottom. The thin head of the tool also allows you to access harder to reach spots when cleaning.
Once you have finished using your Karcher window vac WV2 plus you simply remove the inbuilt plug and drain the dirty water away.

We like the WV2 a lot and think it is a great tool for cleaning your home windows, however we did think that some windows were out of our reach. Particularly sky lights, but Karcher have thought of that too – in steps the extension pole! This great add-on allows you to reach windows that are just out of your reach with ease. The Karcher Window vac WV2 plus extension pole extends your working area from 1.2m to 1.9m. It also comes with a separate extension pole with cleaning cloth. It allows you to carry out the entire cleaning process from a distance. This model is also compatible with all Karcher window vac’s.
