This Flymo Glide 300 electric hover lawnmower comes in at less than £100 and would be great for the summer. In the past we have had personally cheaper lawn mowers, they seem great at first, but along with basic features they also don’t tend to last. We see 2 years at most out of them. With the Flymo easi glide 300 this is something that whilst costs a little more is built to last – but is still definitely a good option for those people that are working on a budget.

We like the fact that this mower comes preassembled, it’s literally a case of open the box, snap the handles into place, plug it in and off you go.

The integrated grass collection box saves plenty of time after mowing the lawn, there is no need to follow your path with a rake collecting up all the excess grass. Whilst a small amount as would be expected comes out of the sides as part of the cut, it really isn’t anything you would consider raking up. 20L should be more than enough space for smaller gardens and you may just need one or two empties for larger gardens, but this is really nice and easy to do thanks to the snap lid.

We also like the adjustable blade height on the Flymo Easi Glide 300, you can vary the cut height from 12mm-32mm over four different cutting heights. This means we can start the year off with a higher cut due to the extra growth the grass has had over the winter, then go for a much closer cut as we are on top of our garden maintenance.

Another thing we are very happy with this Flymo Easi Glide 300 and we tend to see across the entire Flymo range is the weight of the item. It isn’t too heavy to move around, that at the end of the cut you are exhausted and need a Swedish massage. But equally it isn’t so light it feels flimsy, and tapping into the washing line would break the thing to bits.

All round we are very happy with this product and unless you are mowing a football pitch twice a week, we don’t think you can go far wrong with the Flymo Easi Glide 300 Electric Hover Collect Lawnmower.
